Each 1 mL contains:
Imidocarb Dipropionate: 120 mg
Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12): 50 µg
Excipient q.s.: 1 mL
Indicated for the control and treatment of babesiosis and anaplasmosis
in bovines (meat producers), horses, canines, and also helps in the synthesis of hemoglobin.
In Bovines: Babesia bovis, Babesia bigemina, Anaplasma marginale
In Equines: Babesia caballi, Babesia equi, Theileria equi
In Sheep: Babesia ovis, Babesia motasi, Babesia crassa
In Goats: Babesia bigemina
In Canines: Babesia canis, Babesia gibsoni, Ehrlichia canis, Hepatozoon canis
Dosage Guidelines for IMIDOVOLT B12:
Bovines, Sheep, and Goats
Babesiosis: 1 mL per 100 kg
(Equivalent to 1.2 mg/kg of Imidocarb + 0.5 µg/kg of Cyanocobalamin)
Anaplasmosis: 2.5 mL per 100 kg
(Equivalent to 3 mg/kg of Imidocarb + 1.25 µg/kg of Cyanocobalamin)
Horses
General Treatment:
3.66 mL per 100 kg (Single dose)
(Equivalent to 4.4 mg/kg Imidocarb + 1.83 µg/kg Cyanocobalamin)
Or: 1.83 mL per 100 kg with 24–48 hours between IM doses
(Equivalent to 2.2 mg/kg Imidocarb + 0.916 µg/kg Cyanocobalamin)
For Babesia caballi: 3.33 mL per 100 kg
(Equivalent to 4 mg/kg Imidocarb + 1.66 µg/kg Cyanocobalamin)
Administer 4 doses every 72 hours (IM)
Canines
0.25 mL per 4.5 kg
(Equivalent to 6.6 mg/kg Imidocarb + 2.7 µg/kg Cyanocobalamin)
