Each 3.842 g ovule contains:
Oxytetracycline HCl 500 mg,
Excipients q.s. 1 ovule.
Treatment of puerperal uterine infection (endometritis). As adjuvant in the treatment of metritis. Action against Gram
(+) and Gram (-) bacteria: Sensitive: (+): Streptococcus spp, Clostridium spp, and Staphylococcus spp, (-): Klebsiella
spp, Moderately sensitive: (+): Corynebacterium spp, (-): E. coli, Pasteurella spp.
Cattle, sheep, horses, swine.
Intrauterine route:
Cows and mares: 1 .5 - 2 g oxytetracycline (equivalent to 3 - 4 ovules) / animal/ every 24 hours, for 3 days.
Sows 2 ovules/animal/every 24 hours, for 3 days.
Sheep: 1 ovule/animal/every 24 hours, for 3 days.
Dosage may be modified according to the treating veterinarian's criteria
