PENTREN® VET is indicated in the treatment or prevention of gastric or duodenal ulcers in canines, it is recommended in patients with the presence of acid gastric hypersecretion who do not respond to treatments with other H2 antagonists; acute gastritis, idiopathic ulcers, esophagitis and gastric erosion due to uremic syndrome, as an adjuvant to the prevention of gastric ulcers in the administration of ulcerogenic drugs.

gastroesophageal reflux.
In addition to being used together in the treatments of some digestive and metabolic diseases such as gastroenteric processes with the presence of vomiting and pancreatitis in dogs.
Drug of choice for the treatment of Zollinger Ellison syndrome (gastrinoma) and mastocytoma.
In horses, gastric ulcer, proximal duodenitis-jejunitis, postoperative ileus, dysphagia or fractures are recommended in the treatment of gastric ulcer syndrome
Canines For the management and prevention of gastroduodenal ulcers, idiopathic ulcers, esophagitis, gastric hypersecretion due to gastronomical (Zollinger Ellison syndrome) as well as gastric erosion due to uremic syndrome 0.5 to 1.5 mg/kg every 24 hours, equivalent to 0.62 to 1.87 mL per 5 kg, for a maximum of 8 weeks.
For the treatment of gastric ulcers, administer 0.7 to 2.2 mg/kg every 24 hours, equivalent to 0.87 to 2.75 mL per 5 kg. Gastroesophageal reflux, gastric ulcers, and acid hypersecretion of 0.7 (0.2 to 1) mg/kg every 24 hours, equivalent to 0.87 mL per 5 kg.
For the maintenance of gastric mucosal viability in pancreatitis of 0.5 to 1.5 mg/kg every 24 hours, equivalent to 0.62 to 1.87 mL per 5 kg.
Equine Loading dose of 1 mg/kg, equivalent to 10 mL per 40 kg and maintenance dose of 0.5 mg/kg every 24 hours for 5 days, equivalent to 10 mL per 80 kg
