Each syringe contains:
Omeprazole 2.28g.
Excipient qs 6.15g.
EQUIPRAZOL®
is indicated for the treatment and prevention of the appearance and recurrence of gastric ulcers in horses and foals older than 4 weeks of age.
For the treatment of gastric ulcers, EQUIPRAZOL® paste should be administered orally once daily for 4 weeks at the recommended dosage of 4 mg/kg.
For the prevention of ulcer recurrence, continue treatment for at least 4 additional weeks, administering EQUIPRAZOL® paste at the recommended daily maintenance dose of 2 mg/kg.
For the prevention of gastric ulcer formation in healthy horses during periods in which they are exposed to stressful situations or under treatment with products that predispose the appearance of gastric ulcers, administer the minimum daily dose of 1 mg/kg of EQUIPRAZOL.
