Its broad spectrum includes all species of coccidia in all their phases including schizogony and gametogonia, the activity against macrogametes and microgametes characterizes it over other anticoccidial compounds.
It is indicated for neonatal use against Isospora suis in piglets, Toxoplasma spp, Sarcocystis spp., Theilera spp., and Cytisospora spp.
It is compatible with feed additives, as well as other anticoccidials and
medicaments commonly used in production. It does not interfere with
weight gain and feed conversion.
