MELOCAXYL® IV 20 for its analgesic effect, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic is indicated in the treatment of pain and inflammation caused by acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders,
surgical procedures (analgesic treatment and postoperative anti-inflammatory) including orthopedic procedures, injuries that
cause pain and/or swelling.
In dogs, it is also indicated in the initial management of the pain in degenerative joint disease (ED) and osteosarcoma.
In horses it is effective in the management of acute abdominal (equine colic), chronic pain muscular, tendinous, ligaments.
In beef and milk producing cattle, it presents anti-inflammatory, anti-endotoxic and antipyretic, so indicated in the analgesic for respiratory disease (ERB), in the pain management in acute mastitis; Recommended
in the management of pain in procedures such as castration and dehorning in calves for fattening.
Canines:
An initial dose of 0.2 mg/kg is recommended,
equivalent to 0.1 mL per 10 kg of weight,
followed by a maintenance dose of 0.1 mg/kg, equivalent to 0.05 mL per 10 kg of IV or SC weight every 24 hours.
Horses & camels:
A dose of 0.6 mg/kg, equivalent
at 3 mL per 100 kg of IV weight every 24 hours.
Beef and milk producing cattle:
A dose of 0.5 mg/kg, equivalent at 2.5 mL per 100 kg of body weight via IV and SC as a single dose.
Slow intravenous, subcutaneous, and intramuscular.

• Do not consume the meat of cattle producers of meat until after 15 days from your last application.
• Do not consume milk from cows that produce treated milk up to 5 days after their last application.
• Do not administer in horses intended for human consumption.
