FLOXACINE® is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria such as: Escherichia coli, Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica, Haemophilus somnus, Histophilus somni, Actinobacillus pleuropenumoniae and Gram-positive bacteria such as:
Staphylococcus spp., as well as: Mycoplasma bovis and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.
In cattle it is used to treat respiratory infections caused by: Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica and Mycoplasma bovis. As well as to treat acute mastitis caused by strains of Escherichia coli in Cows.
In fattening pigs it is used to treat infections caused by Pasteurella multocida.
Cattle & camels :
Treatment of respiratory infections:
2 mg/kg/day (1 mL/50 kg/day), subcutaneously, or intramuscular for 3 to 5 days.
Treatment of acute mastitis:
2 mg/kg/day (1 mL/50kg/day), subcutaneously, or intramuscular for 3 days. The first application can be administer intravenously.

Cattle & camels
Cattle: The slaughter of cattle intended for consumption human should wait, at least 6 days after the last application.
Milk from cows treated with this product should not be used for human consumption; if it is not milking after 36 hours of the last application.
